Donations For Ryan Daniels
For those interested, Ryan Daniels is helping put together a upcoming digital photography program for students with special needs. If you are a current student, alumni, or reader of the blog, we are looking for donations to help Ryan get this program started! More information below
Dear Chad, As you know, last year I created an after-school photography program for high school students with special needs. I am now trying to make that program digital. Obviously, the cost of creating even the most modest digital photography program is pretty overwhelming. I was hoping that there might be a few ETSU/A&M-Commerce Alumni that would be willing (and able) to help out. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will contribute just over $1000 to the project (50% of what's needed), which leaves about the same amount to be raised by elsewhere. This program is a labor of love for me and these children benefit greatly from the exposure to photography. Shooting digital, I believe, will allow them to excel even further than they have already. If anyone would like to see images that they created last year or have questions about the program, I would be happy to send emails. Anyone interested in the project can find more information in the link below. Thanks in advance! Best, Ryan W. Daniels
