Communication Arts with Howard Schatz, Chip Forelli, and Jim Krantz

Hello readers, sorry for the slower updating on the blog, funny how summer does that. Today's update is all photographers issued in Communication Arts Magazine, including Howard Schatz, Chip Forelli, and Jim Krantz. Make sure and visit the link to the Communication Arts site, as it is a great source of inspiration to the arts overall, whether it be illustration, advertising, photographer or projects going on around the world. Also a heads up that the september/october issue of the Communication Arts Magazine is the Photography annual, and the current issue out right now is the Illustration Annual (for our design readers).

Communication Arts Magazine

Howard Schatz- Photographer who specializes in studies of the human body, including dancers, nudes, boxers, portraits, ect. His website overall has some of the largest amount of work I have seen for a photographer in quite some time. Great website for getting some inspiration, as he covers just about every single category within photography.





Chip Forelli- specializing in some stunning black and white landscape photography. For all the students enrolled in the 209 photography class (4x5 Film class), this would be a great photographer to take a glance at for some ideas or to look at the print quality in his work. Also, this is one of the photographers that was allowed to have a photo become a desktop background for Mac OSX, maybe even being on your background right now!





Jim Krantz- Advertising/editorial/lifestyle photographer Jim Krantz is a well known name for the past several years within the photography community. One of his main projects includes work for Marbolo Cigarettes. His other main project as of late has been work for the United States Army as well

39 th  Annual High School Shoot-Out Contest Results Here are the results of the 39th Annual High School Shoot-Out contest sponsored by Third Floor Photographic Society.
