The Herald Banner newspaper is hosting a photography contest that would be good for a early entry contest. " Do you believe a picture is worth a thousand words? Do you think you have an award-winning photograph that you would love to see in print? Well, here’s the latest news flash. A development is currently underway as area residents are preparing to enter the Hunt County Amateur Photography Contest and Exhibit. Sponsored by the Herald-Banner and the W. Walworth Harrison Public Library, the contest is only open to amateur photographers and Hunt County residents. The contest begins July 9 and runs through Aug. 28. Entries will be accepted from June 25 to Aug. 25.
