New Student Awards!

Congrats go out to photo major students Sean Berry and Nick Minton for recent awards, including Art Directors Club of Houston, PDN Magazine and CMYK Magazine! Sean Berry was awarded both Bronze and Gold at the recent Art Directors Club of Houston Competition this past month. Not only with this, he recently found out that he was also accepted into the PDN Magazine for PDN's Ultimate Music Moment Contest! Nick Minton was accepted into the Art Directors Club of Houston Competition this past month as well. Before that, he had a piece chosen for PDN's Digital Pix Imaging Contest for New Talent and was also recently accepted into Issue #49 of CMYK magazine! Congrats to you guys! PIEA Information

For all photography students, here is PIEA contest Information Directly from Stan Godwin himself! Hello All, I hope this finds you and your students well and getting ready for the 2011 PIEA Student/Teacher International Photography Competition and Exhibition. The deadline is later than usual this year on December 30, 2010. Judging will take place in January. You can see all the rules, download entry and fees forms and read about our 2011 judges on the PIEA web site  http://pieapma.org.  Click on the Photo Competitions link on the left. Did you know we are now over US$246,000.00 in prizes from our 53 very generous sponsors? As always pay particular attention to the rules and remember if all entries from your school are packaged together and the instructor has provided a typed list of all entries you can deduct 15% from your total entry fee bill.
