Third Floor Photo Society

Just wanted to thank all the schools that participated in this year’s High School Shootout Contest. The judging was a little delayed but once the Photo Society officers return from Spring Break, they should have the results and certificates ready to mail out by the end of this week. We will also post a list of the winners and some of the winning images on Third Floor Photo Society blog. The entry fees go to the Photo Society scholarship fund and this year we are offering TAMUC scholarships not only to the portfolio and best of show winners but also all the 1 st place winners in each category.  

32 st Annual High School Shoot-Out                                            Deadline: February 28, 2014 The Third Floor Photographic Society proudly announces the 32 st Annual High School Shoot-Out, a contest for high school photography students. The Society is a student organization within the Texas A&M University-Commerce (TAMU-C) Photography Division. This year’s High School Shoot-Out contest will be judged digitally on March 8 th , 2014 on the campus of Texas A&M University – Commerce and the winners will be announced on The Third Floor Photographic Society’s web site ( http://thirdfloorphoto.blogspot.com ). Hey everyone! NEWS! We will be having a feature photographer: Sean Berry with Sean Berry Photography & A Guy & a Girl Weddings out on campus April 24th, 2013! That is 3 weeks from tomorrow! Now this is a WORKSHOP, not a lecture. In other words... It will be $5 dollar donation a person for an evening of learning how Sean shoots/lights, and also how he processes. You will also get a pizza dinner for your five dollar donation. There are limited spaces available so please let us know if you are interested!
