Help support our Students. Olympus Contest

Hi Chad,

Great news! End of last week, Olympus unveiled the 20 finalist images for the second annual Photographers of Tomorrow contest, commencing the public voting portion of the contest. A number of the finalists are Texas A&M students.

In order to endure your student population is aware of the finalists (including the finalists themselves!), I’m wondering if you can send out a blast email announcing this news to your art/photo department and the finalists within the department. Since this is the first time that judging has been open to the general public, this is also a great opportunity for students to use social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. to promote their work and encourage their friends to vote for their images.

Here are the Texas A&M students who have been named finalists:

Audrey Adams
Thomas Woodall
Philip Clark
Megan Lehr
Joel Hodge

The 20 finalist images were chosen by award-winning Olympus Visionaries, professional photographers Larry C. Price, Maki Kawakita and Nick Kelsh.

Here is a link to see the 20 finalist images and vote for them:

The public voting is open until May 15th.

Thanks, Chad. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,
Lauren
