Hey sorry everyone, just returning from the Big Bend trip for the past week. A update that we will be hosting an opening show for school on summer work from our photography students and anyone who would like to contribute work. Updates soon on the requirements for matting, hanging,sizing, ect.

SPE: seen more then we can talk about.

Thanks to all that was involved, SPE was an amazing conference. We learned a great deal about photography and the effects of Sprawl on our world. Photo Society was so grateful we could send 13 of our members to the conference. I know it was exciting and eye opening to see the diversity of work covering the conference topic SPRAWL. 7 words Something I picked up was from the Tamron sales rep. In difining your photographic style pick seven words that represent your images. Those seven works become your guide in your style. So what are your 7 words? 39 th  Annual High School Shoot-Out Contest Results Here are the results of the 39th Annual High School Shoot-Out contest sponsored by Third Floor Photographic Society. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to everyone who entered this year’s contest. We greatly appreciate the effort that your school takes to enter our contest. 422 single images and 10 Junior/Senior Portfolios were entered this year from  13  high schools and one elementary school with the proceeds going to the Third Floor Photo Society Scholarship. Certificates will be sent out to all the winners with in the next few weeks. Please double check spelling, sometimes mistakes happen.
